ABOUT
Rhonda Lindsey, Psy.D.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist specializing in child and family therapy, adult therapy, and forensic parenting plan evaluations (formerly child custody evaluations). I have over 20 years of experience working with parent/child issues, worry, depression, and academic problems. Clients are often overcoming significant relationship difficulties, hardships, or trauma. As a family therapist, I take into account the bigger picture of your life. I work with you to plan the course of treatment and ask for your ongoing feedback. It is my goal to empower you to be able to find new skills and perspectives to help you continue your progress even after therapy has ended.
In graduate school, I specialized in psychological assessments and child/family therapy. After working over twenty years at an HMO, I opened my private practice in 2019 and re-specialized in forensic evaluations for Family Court Services.
My decades of experience led me to work with all ages at community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, juvenile detention, and outpatient clinics. I learned several specialized methods of therapy from insight-oriented to cognitive behavioral therapy.
